From designing gameplay systems to building the world, UI, music direction, and overall atmosphere, every detail has been shaped through dedication and persistence. The creator said " This project represents more than just a game — it represents the beginning of a long-term journey into independent game development, competitive gaming culture, and original entertainment experiences. This is just the start of my journey and i plan to develope an amazing series in the long run. "
Independent games have been evolving rapidly over the last few years, but every once in a while a project appears that feels different from the moment you see it. Crown Criminal : Survival Block BETA is one of those projects.
We recently spoke with the developer behind the game — a first-time creator who has spent countless hours building a gritty prison-survival experience entirely through passion, persistence, and vision.
Unlike traditional prison games, Crown Criminal blends survival mechanics, underground economy systems, psychological horror elements, social interactions, and intense atmosphere into one connected experience. Players are forced to survive the realities of prison life while navigating danger, reputation, money, and even nightmare-inspired zombie sequences that completely shift the tone of gameplay.
When asked what separates the game from others, the developer explained:
“I didn’t want it to feel like just another prison simulator. I wanted players to feel pressure, tension, strategy, and unpredictability every time they play.”
What makes the project even more impressive is that it’s being developed independently with a strong focus on detail, immersion, and originality. From custom systems and UI design to the game’s atmosphere and progression mechanics, the vision behind Crown Criminal feels deeply personal.
Tournament Nights will be keeping a close eye on the project as development continues.
One thing is clear:
This is more than just a first game — it’s a statement.
